What is the St Andrews Skills Academy?

The St Andrews Skills Academy is a non-profit, unbiased, one-stop shop for tourism and hospitality training in the Fife area of Scotland and beyond. By offering employers and individuals a variety of courses from a wide selection of providers, the St Andrews Skills Academy keeps people informed about tourism and hospitality training available to them, and guides them to the best provider for their needs.

Launched in 2008 the St Andrews Skills Academy is part of an initiative to make St Andrews a better place to work, live and visit. To this end, the St Andrews Skills Academy focuses on providing training for those involved in tourism, hospitality and customer services. However, many of the training courses featured on this site could be relevant across several other sectors, from taxi drivers to traffic wardens.

Although the St Andrews Skills Academy is initially centred around businesses and organisations in the Kingdom of Fife, it plans to grow to serve the entirety of Scotland.
