What is the St Andrews Skills Academy?

The St Andrews Skills Academy is a non-profit, unbiased, one-stop shop for tourism and hospitality training in the Fife area and beyond. By applying to become a registered St Andrews Skills Academy training provider, you will gain visibility as an organisation, as well as targeted marketing for your training courses, and a level of trust from potential clients.

Launched in 2008 the St Andrews Skills Academy is part of an initiative to make St Andrews a better place to work, live and visit. To this end, the St Andrews Skills Academy is seeking organisations which can provide training for those involved in tourism, hospitality and customer services. However, there are many transferable skills required by those in the hospitality and tourism industries that could be beneficial to a number of other sectors, such as marketing, website design, and management. If you feel that your organisation has courses to offer, please register on the site to begin your application process.

Although the St Andrews Skills Academy is initially centred around trainers based in or willing to travel to the Kingdom of Fife, it plans to spread to serve the entirety of Scotland.
