Company History
Flow was launched in June 2009 and represents an innovative approach to hospitality training. Flow has been developed in association with Montpeliers (Edinburgh) Ltd (http://www.montpeliers.co.uk), an independent company with extensive experience of training for the UK licensed trade.
Over the past decade our hospitality training expertise has gone from strength to strength, winning a number of awards for outstanding service, quality and operational expertise within the hospitality industry. We have created a pioneering, SQA approved, hospitality training centre working with leading companies such as Belhaven, Harvey Nichols and The Old Course Hotel, as well as many other multiple and independent operators.
Our experience in hospitality training has led to FLOW being endorsed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
The FLOW training package is an online training programme consisting of 10 modules which cover all the fundamental areas of service and legislative training for staff working in the hospitality industry. Each module is designed to capture the imagination of the learner through inspirational use of graphics, bespoke video, interactive games and exercises and voiceover.
Knowledge tests check the trainees progress throughout, and a final certified exam consolidates the learning, with downloadable PDFs available as ongoing reference materials.
The modules can be used individually or as part of a complete training programme allowing the employer to tailor courses to suit the needs of the learner. It can compliment a companys existing staff training or act as a fully comprehensive stand alone training programme suitable for new starts with no experience as well as excellent refresher training for an existing team.
The modules are priced at £30 each but discounts are available.
In addition to the actual training, Flow has also been designed with a complimentary management system then allows companies to plan training activity, track progress and view results. This system is automatically updated as trainees progress through their modules, allowing managers to access training records at the touch of a button.
