Company History
2020 Business Management Limited was founded by a small group of management, consultancy and training & development professionals to work with leading global organisations to aid their business growth by providing an array of tailored business services.
The companys founders have over 100 years of combined experience working at Director level in a wide range of organisations and are committed to long term strategic involvement with their clients. Since the companys formation in 2008 the company has developed a range of consultancy and training programmes which have been delivered to many key clients include Jonhstons of Elgin, Siemens, VT Nuclear, Apache North Sea, Robert Gordon University, Nexen Petroleum, University of Dundee and a range of public sector departments and NHS Trusts.

In todays economy people are an organisations most important asset, and few are as important as the managers charged with leading the business through challenging times. 2020s learning and development team have extensive experience in delivery of high-impact programmes for leaders crucially linking learning strategies to business strategies.
By assessing business and learning needs 2020 will design and project manage a unique business research and learning programme. Our methodology is to support each organisation to recognise its growth potential, understand sustainability requirements and identify the continued impact it has in the market place. We work to improve the skills and capacity of the teams we support rather than to do the work for them. We firmly believe that if you give someone a fish they will eat for a day but give a person a fishing rod and they can feed themselves for life. We will find the most useful management tools and make sure that managers and teams know how to use them to save time, gain greater understanding and to be able to communicate effectively with other managers.
With this in mind, 2020 employ a range of highly experienced training professionals, many from senior management positions from within the public and private sectors.
RECOGNISED CERTIFICATIONS
2020 Business Management is a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Approved Centre, an ILM Recognised Provider and a licensed training provider for the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) and the St Andrews Skills Academy. In addition, through association with Firefly Business Solutions, an accredited practitioner of the world-renowned Insights colour model of human behaviours. We are also able to deliver accredited IOSH and NEBOSH certifications through our association with Safety-Heart.
The company directors each hold a range of professional qualifications and memberships including the ILM, CMI, HEA (Higher Education Academy), APMP (Association for Project Management Professional) and PMP (Project Management Institute Professional).
2020s programmes are delivered by facilitators qualified, to at least degree level, with many holding postgraduate qualifications in Management, Enterprise Creation, Organisational Development and Consultancy and Business Administration or have held senior management posts within the public, private and Social Enterprise sectors. The facilitators offer a range of public, private and educational sector experience. 2020s Principal Consultants deliver our programmes globally.
